Throat sores: A herpes virus throat infection can produce these symptoms. A strep infection or infectious mononucleosis are other possibilities. I recommend that you be examined by a physician for appropriate testing and treatment. In the meantime take Tylenol, gargle with warm salt water and suck on lozenges.
