Lifestyle/supps/food: You may not necessarily need to limit salt intake. Only a small percentage of people have sodium-sensitive hypertension. I would first get more exercise. Increase arginine containing foods, copious amounts of vegetables, and consider magnesium glycinate, malate, or taurate. Other supps to consider would be aged garlic extract, and fish oil.

Herbs for BP: Natural licorice, guarana, ma huang and yohimbe are some examples of herbs that can increase blood pressure. Parsley is as a natural diuretic but one would have to consume rather large quantities to reach to diuresis needed to help reduce blood pressure. Raw garlic and Omega-3 fish oils are felt to have some cardioprotective effects.

Lowering BP: Great question - avoid saturated fats, fried foods, breads, pizza, pasta with sauce, fatty meats; maximize whole fruit, whole veggies, whole grains (not corn); don't smoke; extra magnesium helps; yes, exercise by walking twice daily; omega 3 can help; very lean meat is fine; modest portions; pomegranate has special properties that can lower BP !
