Restless leg syndrom: Amitriptyline and other medicine of the same group (tricyclics) may actually worsen symptoms of restless leg syndrome.

RLS & amitriptyline: Actually, Amitriptyline has been implicated as a cause for RLS. Caffeine, alcohol, H2 blockers and obesity also can play a role as background causes. Baclofen can be an effective treatment.
