Could BE a pimple: Could actually BE a pimple. Could also be a sebaceous or epidermal cyst that is inflamed. I would suggest cleansing with an acne cleanser containing either benzoyl peroxide or salicyclic acid and applying a salicyclic acid cream or gel twice daily for several days to see if it responds. If not, have your do take a look at it.
