Lactose intolerance: Yoghurt and cheese are dairy products in which the lactose has been fermented by microorganisms, making them relatively lactose free. Ordinary milk should cause similar symptoms as what you experience with ice cream. If that is not the pattern, you are reacting to a specific additive to the ice cream.
