Gastric surgery: Gastric surgery is always the last resort for weight loss, and a good surgeon and pt will have the understanding that all underlying medical conditions should be stable and well treated. A Cardiac evaluation, Pulmonary evaluation (including Sleep apnea eval in your case), psychiatry evaluation and a general Medical Clearance will be required before any surgery with most centers. Best wishes.
