A member asked:

My period lasted 1 day, it was light and no clots. it would usually last 5-7 days. i had a tubal 9 years ago so i doubt its pregnancy. should i worry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: It's extremely rare, but tubal ligations can fail, even after several years. It's unlikely you're pregnant, but if you are concerned, check a pregnancy test. It will probably be negative, and if so, it just means there was a lighter this time. There may have been something with your ovulation. This should correct itself over the next month, but if not, see your GYN.
