Menorrhagia: It is common for periods to be irregular from time to time. Sometimes they start early or late, sometimes heavier or lighter. Your test was negative and you are having a heavy period, so you are not pregnant. If the very heavy bleeding continues more than a couple of days, or if you feel weak or dizzy, see your doctor.
