What type of untoward signs and symptoms might occur when first starting abilify (aripiprazole)?

Most are minor . . : Most common are gastrointestinal problems, headache, dizziness, an inner sense of restlessness (akathisia), anxiety, and problems sleeping. More serious longer term problems include increased risk of stroke (look up nms for more info), tardive dyskinesia, and problems with metabolism, weight gain, blood pressure, and white blood cells. Shouldn't be used by elderly with dementia.

Abilify (aripiprazole): Nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, dizziness, restlessness, anxiety, insomnia, & less commonly tremors or twitching.
