A member asked:

What does it mean if igg and igm toxosoplasma are positive? previously treated in 2008. at present pregnant and values are igm 1.54 and igg 90.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Active infection: IgG is a marker for a previous infection, so that would likely be positive after you had the toxo in 2008. IgM means that there is possibly an active infection within the last 12 months. Specimen should be sent to reference lab for confirmation of this IgM positive to make sure not a false positive.
