Maximum heart rate: is roughly 220 minus your age so 220-21 = 199. Prolonged max is dangerous if lactate accumulates in blood. Quick calming to the 60's is good. If you are using anxiety management strategies to reduce impact and frequency of attacks then keep it up and, if not, learn them for even better effect. Best regards.

No: When u have acute anxiety or panic attack a rush if adrenaline and cortisol occur in the body. This causes u'r heart rate and BP to go up. Can come down pretty fast once the "rush" is over with.
