Ask other mothers: A first pregnancy is exciting but can be worrisome as well because you don't know whether what you are feeling is ok. Regular OB visits help as well as reporting any cramping or bleeding. Other than that, reading current books which are lighthearted or speaking with new mothers who have just been through what you are going through. Eat well, exercise moderately, and don't drink or smoke.
