Depends: 2 weeks will give time for your body to heal. It is a ballpark number. No heavy exertion that may open wounds from increases pressure(similar to doing a sit up)

It depends: It is important to know what was done at that time. If it was just a peek and see, there really should not be any restrictions on this activity after surgery. If you had work done for endometriosis or on the tube, 2 weeks seems about right. If you don't wait in this kind of case, you may be at higher risk for a pelvic infection.
