Upper back pain: Upper back pain involves the thoracic vertebral bodies, the rib heads that attach to the spine, the tendons and ligaments that insert on/in the spine, and discs between the vertebrae. Further imaging such as an MRI study of the cervical and thoracic spine may be necessary as X-rays only show the bones and not the soft tissues. See a spine specialist for a diagnosis and treatment.

U Need to see a Spi-: nal surgeon to be examined, investigated to be properly diagnosed, and then treated as deemed necessary. I would suggest being Active with walking, stretching exercises, swimming are all good to keep the muscles strong and toned up, as I believe Weak muscle also Hurt. So keeping the muscles strong you are removing one cause of the pain. Good Luck.
