Maybe not...: Call your surgeon immediately to see if he/she wants you to take it off. It may be causing pain if it's too tight because of foot swelling. This can be dangerous and cause compartment syndrome so best to call right away.

Here are some...: How long have you been after surgery? A cam boot is to immobilize the surgical site so to lessen surgical pain and enhance healing process of joints. Largely, the pain during the first 1-3 days after an uneventful surgery is worst but in expecting to feel better and better slowly and surely afterward. If not, ask the surgeon timely for pertinent answer fitting your individual circumstance. Best...
