Uncommon: Stroke in your age group is uncommon. Look for another etiology/reason to explain symptoms. Mri could be beneficial.

Radiculopathy: It doesn't looks like stroke . These symptoms could be pressure on your niece roots at the level of your back pain , if it's your neck area , it causes numbness and weakness of arm and leg in same side. Go see a doctor asap.
