You'll be fine: The most common dose is 2 puffs every 4 hours, so that would be 6 doses in 24 hours which is 12 puffs, exactly what you had total. And when someone has a flare-up of their asthma symptoms, we even will increase that dose. So no, you did not overdose and yes you will be fine. Glad to see you are following with doctor to follow your lung tests if you have asthma. Discuss with them your Albuterol use

No overdose.: Albuterol may be used as frequently as necessary to maintain your wheezing. Sometimes patients require "continuous" nebulizer treatments in the hospital. However, if you require albuterol regularly to control symptoms or your symptoms are not completely relieved with albutero you should talk to your doc about other medications
