Optometry: why is it that i cannot adjust to a pair of progressive eyeglasses when am -3.00 myope (tried 2 weeks)?

Depends: Progressive eye glasses do require some adjusting to their features, but they MUST be properly adjusted to your eyes by an optician. If not, your visual performance will not be as acceptable. Furthermore, make certain your prescription is correct and up to date. A call to your eye Doc to have a glasses Re-check is my recommendation. And of course as with any new technology, some people can't adapt
