A member asked:

Can i help myopia while wearing glasses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: In general, you cannot alter your need for glasses by wearing or not wearing them (assuming that you have the correct prescription). Thus, your myopia will neither be worsened or be stabalized by wearing glasses - glasses simply make the vision as clear as possible. Wearing glasses will not make you more dependent on them, and not wearing them will not cause vision loss (except in young children.
