Antihistamines: Throat and middle ear are connected. Burping opens the tubes that connect both called Eustachian tubes. Decrease the congestion which irritates throat and ear pain might improve. Antihistamines such as zyrtec, Claritin, (loratadine) Allegra could improve the symptoms of congestion.

Ear pain: It is possible that you have a TMJ problem or an ear problem. An ENT can evaluate you ear and sinuses and a dentist or oral surgeon can evaluate your TMJ.
