Tooth infection: The headache is probably from the jaw pain as you are not bitting down appropriately as the area is tender. Try se Motrin or Tylenol (acetaminophen) . Check with you obgyn to be sure you are using the pain medication they recommend. I would try to avoid Aspirin or Motrin close to the delivery as these medications could impair your ability to clot very well. Stay with the Tylenol (acetaminophen) for now. Good luck!

Post op pain: Should go back to surgeon for follow up and see if its inflamed. There are topical meds that can relieve the pain in seconds. I assume you mean your head aches at the site of the extraction.
