Yes, they can: depending on what kind of test is done. Oxycodone is metabolized into hydromorphone, and then into Codeine and morphine. Dilaudid IS hydromorphone. So depending on when test is done after ingestion, and how a given individual is metabolizing it, the test can reveal the same metabolites in someone who took either drug.
