Kidney failure can.: It's probably not the dialysis, but the REASON a person is on dialysis, that can impact both sexual function and fertility. For example, if a man is diabetic or has high blood pressure, he may have difficulty getting and maintaining erections as a result of the disease, the medications needed, or blood flow to the genital area. Talk to your doctor about what can be done to evaluate this!
