Sometimes: Unclear what kind of cysts you mean: skin, kidney, ovarian, ganglion, bakers, etc.Skin cysts may occ. cause pain;ganglion cysts usually cause pain, kidney & ovarian cysts don't usually cause pain but may be dangerous if they grow large & burst.If a cyst is causing you pain, regardless of location, get it evaluated.Some must be removed surgically if you want them gone.Others respond to other care.
