Scientific Rx: Forget all the "pop" wisdom. If topical benzyl peroxide (as strong as you can tolerate 2x/day) hasn't cleared you in two weeks, get with your physician who can add something that will clear you. If your acne is actually severe and does not respond to an antibiotic or other ordinary Rx, and you are offered isotretinoin, go for it. Best wishes.
