Acne is not transmitted between persons, including from parents to their children. There are familial tendencies, and it is possible your kids will be at higher risk. But with modern medical care, almost nobody ever needs to suffer with severe acne, or to develop scarring. When you have kids, discuss with their pediatrician; and maybe with a dermatologist at first signs of expected teenage acne.
