No: Ultrasound is a rough method for imaging in the abdomen. It can find well defined lesions of the liver, follow presence of cysts of the ovary or even examine large uterine fibroids. Colon ca begins within the bowel and until it has grown extensive with marked local symptoms as the lesion grows by expanding the bowel, it wont be seen for the most part by ultrasound.
