Several things..: Warm compresses on the lids increases oil production and melts oil solidified in the glands.Light massage with your fingertip or a Qtip near the lash line twice daily during the acute phase and once daily for maintenance.Taking flax seed oil supplements can also help with oil consistency.Artificial tears 4x a day or more will help with the tear deficiency. More expensive drops tend to be better.
