Gb removed in oct. days ago, mri showed "tiny punctate cystic lesion in pancreatic tail." what could cause this? i have no history of pancreatitis.

Unknown: Small cyst in the pancreas are not usually dangerous. Etiology is unknown. Not in anyway related to gall bladder surgery or prior pancreatitis . We follow such pancreatic cyst. Do nothing unless they reach 30 mm in diameter.
