Vaccinate to Prevent: Certain vaccines do prevent incurable diseases such as polio and hepatitis B however vaccines also prevent treatable diseases that have a high rate of associated serious illness and death such as whooping cough, certain pneumonias, and more. These illness are highly contagious and can spread among people rapidly. Prevention by vaccination works. See your Doctor for the complete list of vaccines.

Vaccines: Vaccines are fantastic things-- if u think about it, these (shots usually) can save your life particularly when a disease could be fatal like rabies. There are other potentially fatal diseases too like meningitis, polio, tetanus, Japanese encephalitis, etc. Rabies is the worst because mortality is 100%. Even with Ebola u have a slim chance of survival. No vaccine for Ebola yet though.Hope it helps
