A member asked:

What can you tell me about may-thurner syndrome? ivcs.. is that classified as a rare or not how many in sweden have may-thurner syndrome? why n icd-10

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not rare: May-thurner syndrome is compression of left iliac vein by right iliac artery at a crossing point. unknown how many have it because a lot of people have no symptoms. imaging study would help to identify the location of compression. much more common on left side.
