Go back to ENT: There are several possibilities here. The infection is recurrent because it wasn't fully eradicated or you became reexposed; the organism was partially resistant or another organism in the area inhibited the antibiotic; you have a totally new cause of the tonsillar enlargement; you have a true allergy and the tonsils were due to that and the zyrtec (cetirizine) was working. Go back to the doctor. Good luck.

Lingual tonsils: Possibly there is a drainage to that area from the sinuses or throat or teeth. If this persists, needs to be looked at directly. If you have a Hydro Pulse Sinus and Throat irrigator use that to clear problem.
