A member asked:

Is surgery the only other option if injections don't fix pinched nerves in the back?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Back pain: No. Physical therapy, chiropractic care, and aquatic therapy are other alternatives to surgery for low back pain and pinched nerves. Some patients benefit from anticonvulsant and anti-depressant medications that can relieve leg pain. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and back bracing are also helpful treatments.
