Culture: It would be a good idea to visit a Dermatologist or podiatrist get a fungal culture to rule out a fungal infection.

Fungal likely : Need to see a Podiatrist. They can help with testing to confirm it is a fungus or not do it can be treated, and if they need to remove the nail under more sterile procedure.
