Dermal fillers: The most common dermal fillers are the hyaluronic acid fillers. Examples are restylane, juvederm, Perlane and prevelle silk. Any of these can last anywhere from 6-18 months depending on the individual and injection process. Radiesse is considered a semi-permanent filler with the bonus of collagen stimulation. It can last 9-24 months. Artefill, a permanent filler, can last 2-5 years.

Depends: Different fillers are available for different areas. Some like Perlane or juvederm ultra will last longer but usually are placed deeper under the skin. Some like Restylane (dermal fillers) don't last quite as long but can be used in more areas. Get advice from a qualified professional who has experience with fillers.

Dermal fillers: Df all last about the same time. The minimal differences are just for marketing purposes. The truth is that fillers are a good way to assess how you feel with the volume restoration. You can continue with fillers once they wear off or, if you like the result, you can get fat injections that are more longer lasting.
