First,: You need to go to medical school, then complete a residency in psychiatry. Then it's on to an addiction psychiatry fellowship. I wish you the best!

Training: After you graduate from medical school, and complete a psychiatric residency, you can become an addiction psychiatry fellow for a year of additional training.
