Blood in stool: Bloody bowel movements can occur for many reasons. Hemorrhoids are a common cause but there are many more worrisome causes that should be ruled out. Colon cancers and inflammatory conditions called colitis can present this way as well. Anyone with blood in the stool should seek the advice of their doctor and consider colonoscopy to further evaluate.

Light stool color every so often. No pain. No blood. No issues. Light but still brown, not yellow or green and solid. Just concerned because its not the common darker brown. Fairly healthy diet, no alcohol. Omeprazole occasionally, have IBS?
