No: the main goal of rotator cuff surgery is to relieve pain and restore as much function as possible. The fact that the rotator cuff was torn and required surgical intervention means that it may never be completely normal again. Work with what you have, 95% of these cases are better than they were before surgery which is the primary goal. Be patient.

Normal : Recovery after this surgery is certainly tough. I still feel that you have room to improve even one year post surgery. You just have to keep working on it. How is your strength, pain, and range if motion in other planes? Do u know which tendons u tore? When did u start therapy? Are you diabetic?
