Vertigo is a symptom: Vertigo is just a name for a sensation of movement when there shouldn't be. By far the most common cause of true spinning vertigo is ear problems. If you're hearing something at the time also then an ear problem is very likely. More info is needed to answer your question but try doing toe raises when you get dizzy to raise your blood pressure. If that doesn't help probably an ear problem
