Tummy pain & diarrhe: Abdominal discomfort in a 2 year old, not too severe, accompanied by one or more episodes of diarrhea usually represents a virus infection of the GI system (viral gastroenteritis). In most cases it resolves without any specific treatment. As long as there is not a lot of vomiting (which poses the risk of dehydration), s/he should be fine.
