Common feature of many gut viruses. They often self heal in time. As long as the kid stays hydrated enough to pee every 6 hrs they can often be monitored at home. Rice/applesauce/bananas and rice cereal often help firm their stools. Get seen if the kid doesn't pee every 8 hrs at least.

Keep her well hydrated, use Pedialyte and a diet without dairy products until she is well. A probiotic daily may be helpful. Watch for signs of dehydration such as fewer wet diapers, dry mouth and lips. If bleeding or mucus, please let your pediatrician know. Most children will recover in one week to 10 days.
