Twisting pain in rib: On the left side, "twisting" pains, usually some kind of cramp, reflects colonic peristalsis (your colon trying to move some stool along). If you feel constipated, take a good laxative. The best one is miralax, (polyethylene glycol) 1 capful of powder in a glass of water or juice, once a day.
