Could be: Slipped rib syndrome, pain in the rib is usually worse with movement or deep breathing. Find a pain management doctor nearby for evaluation and possible nerve block and find a physical therapist that will manually put it back in place when the area is numb. First stop, is your primary doctor to rule out other causes of this pain.
