Some below: TE may occur if taking drugs such as antidepressants, cardiac drugs like Inderal (Propranolol). A rapid increase in hair loss, a positive tug(pulling hair) test to note if clubs are at end are also useful .Hypothyroidism hyperthyroidism can cause it too and reverse with Rx. Often severe stress is a cause.
