Unlikely pregnant: The pregnancy tests performed in the doctor's office use similar technology to home tests, but are read by individuals who may see over a hundred tests or more per week. They are trained to do this. Home error is usually the reason for the discrepancy. You can, if still uncomfortable, ask for a blood test which if negative is negative regardless of what you are seeing at home.
