Wanted to know if all 3rd degree burns require grafting to heal properly?

Often: If they involve an area around joints, the face or are sizable (more than 5-10 sq. cm. or so-depending on location), they do. The reason is that 3rd degrees tend to cause very contracted and disabling scars that can affect function and appearance. Skin grafts heal with better function and appearance.
