Complete previa, no!: If the placenta previa is complete, that is, covers the opening of the cervix(os) absolutely not as when the cervix starts to open during labor then massive hemorrhage will result. If it is a partial previa in early pregnancy, occasionally the growth of the expanding uterus will elevate the placenta away from the cervical os. Most OB's would still consider C/S if ultrasound confirms previa.
