Yes to begin with: Always good to limit time of exercise post surgery and slowly increase until time utilized presurgery. Fortunately with laparoscopy the routine abominal incision not utilized but rather small ports which heal fast. Still at one wl post surgery, try 1/4 the previous schedule moving up each week until one month post surgery you are back to normal.

Start slowly: First ask your surgeon when you can exercise. Then start exercises slowly and bulid up. Your stamina will be decreased at first, so stop when you are tired or uncomfortable. Do a little bit more each day until you are back to your regular schedule. Also depends on your exercise regimen before surgery, if you were strong before surgery then your recovery may be quicker, & slower if weaker pre-op.
