Discomfort: And pains after surgery are normal. Tight and sore abdominal muscles would be expected to some degree. Are you eating alright, no vomiting or fevers? Contact your surgeon if you feel you are having worsening difficulties, worsening pain, vomiting, fevers, etc.

Post op pain: You should meet with your surgeon to discuss. But a small amount of discomfort , cramping and even pain at the port sites or in the abdomen is normal after this procedure.
