Chronic uticaria: or hives can be difficult to diagnose or treat. In my practice hives are usually caused by a summation and or mix of triggers. Example- eating a Strawberry after a day at the park by a person with known Grass Pollen allergy may cause hives while doing just ONE or the OTHER will not in the same person. It has been theorized there may exist an "Allergy Index" that determines symptoms or no symptoms.
